  2. Using your right thumb, cover your right nostril and take a deep breath through your left nostril.
  3. At the end of the inhalation, close your left nostril with your ring finger and little finger, and exhale slowly through your right nostril.
  4. Now inhale deeply through your right nostril, and at the end of the inhalation, close your right nostril with your right thumb and exhale slowly through your left nostril.
  5. Repeat this process, alternating between inhaling through the left nostril and exhaling through the right nostril, and inhaling through the right nostril and exhaling through the left nostril.
  6. Practice this for 5-10 minutes, gradually increasing the duration as you become more comfortable with the practice.

Steps for Anulom Vilom Pranayama:

  1. Choose a peaceful area where you may relax and be alone.
  2. With your back straight, sit cross-legged on the floor or in a chair.
  3. To calm your body down, close your eyes and take a few long, deep breaths.
  4. Begin by exhaling through both nostrils, then inhale deeply through your left nostril.
  5. Close your left nostril with your ring finger and little finger, and exhale slowly through your right nostril.
  6. Inhale deeply through your right nostril, then close your right nostril with your right thumb and exhale slowly through your left nostril.
  7. Continue this procedure for 5 to 10 minutes, extending the time as you get more accustomed to the exercise.
  8. When you are finished, take a few deep breaths and open your eyes slowly.
